Battlefield 3 is now in Beta!  Please let me know what you think of the game and the new Origin service.  I intend on picking this up soon!

Battlefield 3 Coming Soon

Battlefield 3 is set to launch this October 25th.  Pre-Ordering will get you into the open beta which is cool.  Open Beta will go live sometime in September.  The part I’m not so sure about is getting extra firepower with the pre-order.  According to Orgin’s store site if you pre-order you get:

Type 88 LMG with bipod
Flechette Ammo for DAO-12 Shotgun
Flash suppressor for SKS sniper rifle
Day 1 Access to the DAO-12 Shotgun

Is this going to far?
